Games and Interactive Art

Polyglot (2008)

Footage from the Polyglot [Cubed] educational game. The game is designed around 6 rooms of floating, cubicle tiles. Each tile is assigned a foreign language word, and a pictographic representation of that word. The cubes are clustered by topic, usage, or form of speech to encourage contextual recognition and aid visual memory. The player must match the spoken word with the cube that corresponds to it. Conversations (2007)

Footage from the Conversations installation piece in which a user pursues an unguided exploration of audio collage. A series of in-gallery and found object recordings are emitted from abstract primitives in a 3D environment. The piece seeks to strip the illusion of character avatars, expose bare simulacra, and convey the memory of electronic devices. [more]

Music Box (2006)

Footage from an interactive art work employing the boids algorithm of emergent behavior. 3D Notes resound as they chase bass clefs away from their 2D page.

Zombie Master (2006)

Zombie Master is a first-person adventure shooter in the tradition of 1950’s horror films and graphic novels. The player must find his missing daughter and destroy an army of the undead. [more]

Health-E Game (2006)

OpenGL Light Teaching Tool (2005)

The openGl demonstration tool is a free program to demonstrate the interaction of light, geometry and materials in computer graphics. The tool uses openGL to demonstrate 4 light types (ambient, directional, point and spot), several materials and a short list of object primitives and 3D models. This is a basic teaching tool for experience-based education. [more]
